Editorial Guidelines
Every recipe and article on Finesse Pastries follows the same editorial standards. These guidelines explain how we develop, write, and maintain our content, so you always know what to expect when you cook with us.
Clarity first. Recipes are written in plain language with exact ingredients, measurements, and steps. We include the sensory cues that tell you when something is actually ready, like the color of a seared crust or the look of a set custard, not just a time on a clock.
Tested for real kitchens. Our recipes are developed and reviewed to work with everyday equipment and ingredients you can find at a normal grocery store. We note substitutions and make ahead options wherever they help.
Accuracy and honesty. We aim to be straight with you about timing, yield, and difficulty. If a recipe takes real effort, we say so. If a shortcut works, we share it.
Independence. Our recommendations are our own. Sponsored posts and affiliate links, when present, are clearly disclosed and never change our honest opinion of a recipe, product, or technique.
Corrections. If we get something wrong, we fix it and note meaningful changes. Spot an error? Email us at hello@finessepastries.com and we will review it promptly.
